Out of VAIO, HP, and Toshiba, I like HP, so I am going to give you 2 HP suggestions.
The first is the HP Envy 14. The super-thin HP Envy 14 gives you discrete graphics and Intel Core i5 and i7 processors for multimedia, and creative projects, plus premium support. It has a smaller, 14 in screen. Specs:
2.53 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-460m dual core processor
4 GB DDR3 system memory 2 MHz
640 GB HDD 7200 RPM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Then there's the HP EliteBook 8540w. A stronger machine, but a little more expensive. The HP EliteBook 8540w features workstation-caliber graphics, an integrated numeric keypad, and a highly mobile, rugged design. Intel® Core™ processors maximize performance, and ISV certification ensures your certified programs will run effectively.
2.66 GHz Intel® Core™ i5-560M Processor (3MB L3 cache)
2 GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz
320 GB Other 7200 RPM
Just 2 suggestions from me, I think they'll be worth a look. Good luck on your search!
