    Hiii~ I like Asian drama's too..

I presume you want some Japanese and Korean then? :3

I'll give ya 3 each, my top recommendations + 1 tragic drama :D

    #1. Mr Brain (drama)

    >>Tsukumo Ryusuke is a quirky, yet brilliant neuroscientist working for the National Research Institute of Police Science. Wielding a unique perspective and psychology, Tsukumo tackles the nation's most baffling crimes and scandals, going head-to-head with the most brilliant and twisted criminal minds. But his eccentricities and poor social timing can also aggravate people and circumstances, further complicating matters.

#2. Mei chan no Shitsuji (drama)

    >>The story revolves around a young woman named Mei, who was rescued as a young girl by someone calling himself her "butler." With only a vague memory, though, the experience seems like just a dream. But one day, after her parents' accidental death, he appears: Rihito comes from a line of outstanding butlers, and he has been appointed to serve her! Now her ordinary life has completely flipped, as she discovers that she's actually the heiress to a fortune, and is forced to transfer to St. Lucia Girls' Academy, where all the students have butlers! As a result, her childhood friend Kento decides to enroll in a butler school so that he can stay close to her.

    #3. Otomen (drama)

    >>The story centers around the popular high school boy Masamune Asuka, the top kendo fighter in the nation. However, beneath his cool exterior, he is actually fond of sweets and shojo manga, and is skilled in sewing and cooking. When he instantly falls for the transfer student Miyakozuka Ryo, his secret is in danger of being exposed.

    #1. My Girl (drama)

    >>When Gong Chan meets the lively and beautiful Yoo Rin, he finds out that she has connections to his missing cousin, whom his grandfather has been searching for. He asks Yoo Rin to lie about being his long missing cousin until he can find his real cousin. She says yes, but soon their feelings for each other get in the way of their plans.

    #2. You're Beautiful (drama)

    >>The management company of the idol group A.N.JELL insisted on adding a new singer to the group as the lead vocal, Tae Kyung's voice was hurting. However, the new member, Mi Nam, had to go to the States to repair a botched eye job just before signing the contract. His agent came up with the idea of having his twin sister, Mi Nyu,to stand in for him and pretend that she was her brother.

    #3. Personal Preference (drama)

    >>Jeon Jin Ho is a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become Park Kae In's roommate. His hobbies include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out a women’s feelings. Kae In is very trusting even though she has a habit of being betrayed. However that doesn't stop her from giving people the benefit of doubt and Jin Ho is no different. How will Kae In react when she finds out that her gay roommate is not actually gay at all and that he has fallen for her?

For something SIMILAR to Koizora (i LOVE that drama and movie) try watching:

-->1 Litre of Tears (drama and movie <based on a true story>)

    >>5-year-old Ikeuchi Aya was an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a soon-to-be high schooler. However, odd things have been happening to Aya lately. She has been falling down often and walks strange. Her mother, Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

    Have fuuuuun~

Source(s): Have and seen all of these dramas :D My top recommendation, if you have not seen em :)

Nodame Cantabile - is a very funny anime/manga/Jdrama about an extremely talented music student, Chiaki, who attending a music school and wants to be a conductor but has a dread of flying (which precludes him from traveling overseas to further his career). Enter Nodame, an extremely eccentric piano genius who also attends the same music school and who's life collides with Chiaki's with hilarious results. If you enjoy classic music, wild characters and laughing a lot give it a try.

Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (it's based off a popular anime/manga, but it's different in a lot of ways)

--Four sexy guys have to transform a reclusive, horror-obsessed girl into a "yamato nadeshiko" (perfect young Japanese lady) in order to get free boarding. Comedy, has a sweet message. <3

--This one is great. It's about this guy who looks really young/adorable, but he's actually a police officer in his 20s. It's about him solving different cases, having to go undercover, helping people out of their problems, etc. Plus it has a supernatural twist to it.

Hope you like 'em. :D I'm not much of a drama-watcher so I couldn't suggest very many.

Here is my list of K-dramas:

    List of J-dramas:

    List of C-dramas:

    I tend to hate melodramas.

If you need something now without sorting through the list:

My Princess, Hotaru no Hikari, Hotaru no Hikari 2, Fantasy Couple, Nodame Cantabile, Down With Love would match your current list.

    Current Season's dramas of note:

My Princess is currently airing, but almost over. It is slightly political, but has plenty of cute to fill it.

Hotaru no Hikari is from Japan. It's light and fun Josei drama.

Dream High might be up you ally if you're looking for teen actors.

The J-dramas for this season are kind of weak in Rom-com area. Most of them are in the investigator area. Not sure if that floats your boat.

TW dramas aren't remarkable this season, though there is a drama with Ariel and Winnie (the one that directed It started with a Kiss and They Kiss Again) coming up soon.

You can find more at and You can also watch them at, and If you can get in, there is also --primarily for K-dramas, though.

Source(s): Watched over 100+ Asian dramas since 2003 from Taiwan, Korea and Japan. <--Ignore the fact that they can't tell the difference between Japanese, Chinese and Korean because they are that stupid. You can also check out for the latest news in K-dramas, and for DLing raws and seeing older dramas you might want to try out. (Stay away from Prince's First Love, though.) <-- has info on current dramas and which are airing.
