Has the past 40 years of legal federally subsidized immigration to supply cheap labor for business OK with you?
Looks like to me the ownership business community has successfully eliminate most unions, got the Federal govt to import cheap labor replacements & outcasting millions of several generational Americans out of the money loop over the past 40 years. The media confuses your brains with the illegal verses the legal.
Fact is legal immigration has cost more several generational Americans to lose their jobs and the ownership business community has done it for their own profit gains.

Don't forget to add the Migrant Labor Act. California successfully lobbied for this act to 'provide farmers with affordable workers in the field.' The WHITE AMERICANS (mainly families who lost farms in the Plains Dust Bowls) protested for better wages and living conditions. Instead. our government replaced them with cheap migrant labor from Mexico. The irony is that the whites complaining were ones who replaced Chinese pickers who ....... protested for better pay and conditions. Migrant Farm Labor also bills the US taxpayer for some medical assistance and housing assistance for the picker and family. At the same time, food giants like ADM and Monsanto make millions a year in profits while we subsidize the company labor.Source(s): NOT OK, the Migrant Labor Act needs REPEALED. Migrants are now working in McDonalds! all the while, millions of Americans are jobless. (PS, Florida tomato workers protested for a $5000 a year pay raise, fomr $10,000 a year to now $15,000 a year. . they got it. and cost us only about 4 cents a pound! so better pay doesn't mean $8 a pack strawberries! a lie from the food giants!)

Immigration has never been federally subsidized. If you have never worked overseas, or been married to a foreigner, you wouldn't understand the need for reciprocity and family unity. If you had never studied the flight of US companies overseas simply because it is so difficult to bring their foreign workers to the US, you would not understand the need for employment based immigration. Soon there will be only two people working in the US for each person on social security. Unless we start subsidizing having babies to increase the population, the only hope for our country will be to import large numbers of young workers from overseas before 2035.

Hell "NO"...Send them back to their own countries and hire Americans unless we need people to work in our field.
