Sony PS3 does it really have a PS2 emulator?

I have a PS3 160gb, is it really true?

    The earlier models namely the 2006 20GB and 60GB launch models actually had the PS2 chip set installed on the PS3 motherboard but Sony removed that ! In 2007 there was an 80GB that had a PS2 emulator installed but Sony removed that as well so as of 2007/2008, no PS3 model has had any PS2 hardware or software installed which means no PS3 model since then can play PS2 games !

    Hell no, only the first PS3 that was sold for a few months, the silver one, 40GB??? had it. Ur 160GB doesan't have it. Only the Silver/40GB one.
