Purchase a DeWALT model # DCF815S2 Kit.
This is DeWALT's new 12 volt Lithium Ion impact driver.
It is small but powerful ! We have sold a ton of these in our Contractor tool store.
You can purchase the bits, hole saws, screwdriver bits that fit right into the end.
You will get the impact driver, 2 batteries, charger and a nice DeWALT nylon tool pouch all for around $169.00.
The impact has a 1 yr. warranty the batteries have a 2 yr warranty.
* By the way the 5 yr. warranty that is bragged about by others only covers
FACTORY DEFECTS. That means it does not cover failure of the switch, chuck, brushes, motor, unless it is a factory defect. Don't believe me - ask for the written warranty on any of these tools. That is also hard for someone to produce for you. Check it out and go online and lookup the warranty.
Milwaukee does not make any all metal anything. Housings are all composite man made materials - we work on them everyday.
Another thing about Milwaukee. Milwaukee was recently purchased by a Chinese Company - search online for Milwaukee tools and you will see.
They have had serious problems with many of their batteries/chargers. Now if you have a problem with a Milwaukee battery it must be sent into a factory owned service center for evaluation even if it is still under warranty. A bad DeWALT battery if under the 2 year warranty can be exchanged at any service center. Plus your milwaukee battery may be pro-rated which means you may not get a new battery but a credit (partial replacement credit) for how ever much they feel your battery has been used.
DeWALT also has a 30 day return policy. It's printed right on the box. You can return any DeWALT tool to the place of purchase for a refund within 30 days no questions asked. If you have trouble doing this - just call the nearest factory owned service center (while you are at the store) * service centers are listed in the back of the dewalt catalog. and have the manager talk to the store manager who is telling you he won't refund your money.
Long story short - Buy this tool I mentioned - you won't be sorry.
