    King James Version Bible

    2 Peter Chapter 1

    2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

    1 Peter Chapter 5

    8. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    John Chapter 8

    44. Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

    Revelation Chapter 12

    7. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

    8. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

    9. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

    Ephesians Chapter 6

    12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

    Revelation Chapter 12

    10. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

    11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

    12. Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Well ultimately anything that happens, even evil has to be allowed by God, so He is both the King of Light and darkness.

Jesus would be the King of Kings, it is one of his many titles, and therefore, he would be King of Darkness. Interesting though because Jesus is also referred to as the Prince of Peace.

But I know what you want to get at and really man, Christians understand that Jesus holds the keys to Heaven and Hell, He brings forth everlasting life, and controls everlasting darkness.

That is what is meant by His Victory on the Cross. He beat death and Satan then and there.

Are you speaking of the Prince of the air? I would say all over the earth. He most likely visits the ""Free" Masons hall a lot. The white house is probably on his list.

That reign of Darkness only deserves the title of Prince, and no more...

Even among humans you can have princes without having a king.

God created the darkness before he created Satan... God called it the darkness night and the light day and said it was good.
