1.8 as a percent, I know you have to turn 1.8 into a fraction & then make it over 100 but how do you do that with 1.8?

There are three ways to show 1.8:
Percent if french for "per 100".
To get a percent of a raw number like you have you just multiply it by 100 and put the % sign beside it.
1.8x100 = 180%
How i got this:
Every number is a fraction. If you just have 1.8, it can always be though of as:
----- = 1.8
if you multiply your equation by 100 you get 180/100 or 180%.
You can simplify your fraction and make it 9/5.

just move the decimal point over 2 spots to the right and add a zero 1.8 then would like 180% works on all decimals to percents and opposit when changing percents to decimals.
