why is Russia occupying Chechnya?

    Because Chechnya is a Major radical hotspot where Muslims are trying to expand their territory in the name of their imaginary friend.

    The Russians are orthodox Christians and will hold their ground.

    Religion BRINGS WAR.

    Because Chechnya has been part of Russia since the 1780s.

    Currently, it is because the Chechens refused to maintain order and instead invaded the neighboring part of Russia known as Dagestan. Till that point, the Russians had allowed Chechnya to maintain home rule, but his incident proved their expansionist nature.
