What will be the new volume if 115 mL of He gas at 100°C and 0.951 atm is cooled to 28°C and the pressure is increased to 1.05 atm?

    Using combined gas law:

    P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

    And remember to convert T into degrees K

    So: V2 = (P1V1T2)/(P2T1)

    V2 = [(0.951)(115)(301)]/[(1.05)(373)]

    V2 = 84.05 mL
