Who is the first famous mentor that pops in your head?

I have to do a presentation soon over mentors in fiction and nonfiction situations and need some ideas.

    Hi,

The first one that comes to mind is Merlin. He mentors Arthur, Uther, Nimue and several others.

Chiron, as someone else mentioned, is a very good one. Both fictional.

Paracelcus is another great teacher of our time - non fictional.
