Abraham Lincoln's father was Thomas Lincoln (1778-1851)

was born in Rockingham County, Virginia, U.S.

Abraham's paternal grandfather was also named Abraham Lincoln was a militia captain during the American Revolutionary War (1744-1786) was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania

Captain Abraham Lincoln was a descendant of Samuel Lincoln (1622 – 1690), who was born in Hingham, Norfolk, England, and who, as a weaver's apprentice, emigrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1637.

Thus, it was not the father of the US Civil War president who was born in England, but actually Samuel Lincoln who emigrated to the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1637.

    I hope this helps!
