Who's next in line after the speaker of the house?

The president, vice president, and speaker of the house all go on vacation to Hawaii.... BUT a volcano erupts. opps! So who takes over? Or are we all doomed?

    President Pro Temp of the Senate (This is the person appointed to oversea the Senate when the Senate President, the Vice President, is not present).

    Then Secretary of State, then Treasury, then Defense, then Attorney General. The list goes on to cover the rest of the cabinet in the order that the other cabinet posts were established. In all their are 18 people in the succession line, ending with Secretary of Homeland Security.

    I always think it is the amp or the DVD player that should come after the speaker. Unless you get good source driving the speaker, there is no point.
