Steam achievement didn't unlock?

On Football Manager 2011 I won the confederations cup with Spain. But the Steam achievement 'win the confederations cup' didn't unlock. Why didn't it?

    Sometimes they don't unlock, for many reasons, usually a patch is released that will fix this. If not you may have to do the Achievement again.
