Chase or USAA, who has better checking?
Which is a better bank? I'm a veteran and was gonna open a checking account at USAA. But now my employer is only doing direct deposit at Chase only. Who has the better checking account and who would I fare better in the long run???

USAA will let you photo a check and deposit electronically through the internet.
USAA has a very strong history and good banking practice.

From my point of view, the real question is, "how much do you need direct deposit?" I've been a member of USAA since 1959, and wouldn't think of changing. My spouse has her account at Chase and seems ok with it. Take a look at USAA car insurance if you haven't already. The other benefits at USAA are also worth a looksee.

I have USAA checking/car insurance, and I wouldn't have anyone else. They are EXCELLENT. I have been a member since 1992....

USAA, hands down. Chase will nickel and dime you to death.
