Simple mushroom sauce for steak tips?

Need good TRIED recipes please.

Don't just copy and paste, would like something that you've tried personally and feel is very good.

    Melt 1 teaspoon butter in pan. Add 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms, 2 tablespoons minced shallot, and 1 minced garlic clove to pan; sauté 3 minutes. Stir in 1/2 cup beef broth and 1/4 cup sherry. Combine 2 teaspoons cornstarch and 2 teaspoons water in a bowl, stirring until smooth. Add cornstarch mixture to pan; bring to a boil. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

    just sautee up some mushrooms in the pan you browned your steak tips... add a can of cream of mushroom soup and simmer... then pour over the steak tips.
