I personally don't like the style of American comics, although some aren't that bad. But it's manga for me!

Manga. It feels like the American comics try to hard to have "realistic" art, and that throws it off a bit. The Japanese style is cleaner, and I like it.

there's no such element as American anime and no such element as jap cartoons. Cartoons = u.s. Anime = Japan. Now, I do would desire to agree that maximum cartoons suck in recent times aside from some, like familiar tutor, MLP:FiM and each now and lower back family members guy and The Simpsons. I easily have not considered Gravity Falls or different familiar cartoons different than those I listed. As for anime, some sucks and a few is stable, purely like cartoons. i don't think of you may quite generalize, considering its this form of extensive spectrum.

Manga FTW! It has way more emotion, artistic style, and meaning, in my personal opinion.
