A swot analysis is a business analyis tool and looks at four different areas-

Stregnths,

Weaknesses

Opportunities

Threats.

so a strategic Swot analysis will look at those four things in your organisation's strategic planning, an operational Swot will look at operations, (such as how things are done) and tactical Swot will look at organisational tactics, such as marketing.
