What are some comparisons that can be made about Medicare Part C and Medicare Part D?

I am doing an essay about Medicare, and i have to show how Medicare advantage plans (part c) and Medicare prescription drug coverage (part d) are the same and different. I pretty much have the differences...it's just the comparisons...!! can anyone help..?? thanks in advance.

They are not the thing. Thats why they are called Part C and Part D.

Medicare Part C refers to the Medicare Advantage plan people can choose to enroll in instead of the Original Medicare plan.

Part D is simply a drug prescription plan that you pay extra if you are in Original Medicare.

Part D drug prescription plan is included in Medicare Advantage.
