Will Brady Hoke be a good fit for the university of Michigan football program?

or do you think he will provide another share of loosing and disappointing seasons

Big time college programs should be able to hire big time coaches. Hoke is not a proven winner. It will be a couple of years before he can prove to be a good fit because he has to get rid of Rich Rods recruits and start playing with his own kids.

yes. people seem to forget that even lloyd carr was consistently winning 8-9 games a year-not phenomenal, but certainly nothing to sneeze at

the one thing about hoke is that he is PSYCHED to be here. he understands the michigan program and what is expected of him. plus, hes already made some good hires. we got rid of greg robinson (thank god) and hired greg mattison, DC of the ravens-clearly a person who knows defense

denard announced that he is going to stay which helps a lot. we lost tate forcier (academic issues) but still have devin gardner, who has a similar size and skill set to vince young-and we all know what happened to him

clearly, the defense is a mess-but a name like mattison will help bring in some recruits. it will be a while before we have the D that we did during the '97 season, but right now there is literally nowhere to go but up

special teams need some work, but both kickers will have another year under their belts

the good thing about hoke is that he will adjust. with RR, it was 'my way or the highway' this is a good philosophy for attitudes, but not for skills. RR tried to run a run-first spread offense with a tall, slow white guy (threet and sheridan) and it just didn't work

Hoke will find a way to use denard's skills to the fullest while still slowly integrating into his style of offense

i have high hopes for michigan next year. we certainly could go 7-5, and with a little luck do better. from there, we will start to get respect again and can continue to move back towards winning

Llyod Carr retiring is the worst thing to ever happen to them. Rich Rodreguiz may of been able to the his spread anywhere beside the Big 10. He's taken too long to reload and get his personnel in. He will never be able to win a championship because he can't keep things rolling Like with West Virginia when they lost to Pittsburgh keeping them from going to the championship. There the winning est football program but can do things right.

A proven coach was probably more necessary, but I have great faith in Brady Hoke. He has done great at Ball State and SDSU, and hopefully he can take his successes to Ann Arbor.
