Should Palin agree with the liberal media, the hunting analogy caused the shooter to murder innocent people?

The liberal news media immediately started blaming the Tea Party, Palin and republicans for the shooter and the killings of the innocent victims. Later, after their rush to judgment, liberals and their media could not find a single connection to the shooter and the opponents of socialism.

Well, the bandwagon was down the road, spewing blame but could not come up with anything remotely credible, to lay blame on their political opponents. Somehow all things evil must be blamed on Bush, Cheney, Palin or Haliburton but not even all the spin in the media could find a connection between the shooter and Palin or the Tea Party.

Palin, defended herself, her analogy to hunting was never known to the shooter, any claim that the shooter was inspired or prompted by Palin, was seen by all, as baseless slander. The liberal media provided another perfect example of their bias to the left.

Should Obama have apologized his street talk, "bringing a gun to a knife fight" may have inspired a shooting, huh? If that claim is ridiculous, so is the claim that Palin has blood on her hands for the actions of a psycho, who knew nothing of this hunting analogy.

BUT, liberals control the media and the activist news journalists publish propaganda such as this baseless slander about Palin's hunting analogy.

Should Palin apologize for the hunting analogy that had nothing to do with the shooting? If so, should Obama apologize for his metaphor about bringing a gun to a political conflict?

The word "caused" is a bit misleading, even though I am most definitely NOT a peacock-throne Palin fan. And also, tying the word "liberal" to the word "media" is an old GOP propaganda tool used throughout the 1990s (on advice from their political strategists, spin doctors, and Newt Gingrich with help from the cult-connected right-wing Heritage Foundation) to put a neutral mainsteam media on the defensive and, in that defensiveness, push them ever farther toward the right-wing side of the political spectrum. The slant of our media is all too often determined by ad money, so monitor the ads carefully to determine which way the news outlets will turn.

Interesting how you far-right-wingers simply REFUSE to take responsibility for any of your bad behaviors! Instead, you throw stones (or what you are told are "stones" by foreigner-owned Faux "news" that sued for the "right to lie" and won) at innocent others, just as a cookie-stealing three-year-old with crumbs on his face and a broken cookie jar at his feet, a cookie in each hand, would deny being the one who has stolen the cookies, blaming the deed on an infant sibling not even old enough to walk. This being said, the "If they bring a knife, you bring a gun" quote from the movie "The Untouchables" was uttered way back in March 2008 during the presidential campaign by then-Candidate Barack Obama, and was used at a private Democratic fundraiser to convince wimpy Democrats to get some "backbone" by borrowing Sean Connery's line to the wimped-out T-men who had to go up against Al Capone's ruthless mobsters: "If they bring a knife, you bring a gun; If they put one of your men in the hospital, you put one of theirs in the morgue". Candidate Obama used the first one-half of this movie quote and then quipped (with the traditional Obama grin), "I hear folks are pretty scrappy in Philadelphia...[grin]...especially if you are an Eagles fan." Not so ominous when you hear the context now, is it, little BreitBRATian neocon?

Palin used a patriotic symbol, the U.S. MAP, and she used Democrats' names and their districts, then TARGETED those people (Americans) with CROSSHAIRS of a gun! To make matters worse, she then deliberately POSTED this call for gun violence against Democrats (and ONLY Democrats) on a PUBLIC FORUM, her facebook page---where anyone and everyone had full access! Some of the information that we have gotten about the Arizona shooter is OFF HIS FACEBOOK PAGE! If you then add the vain-glorious ill-advised "Don't Retreat...RELOAD!" Palin comment that she repeated on national television MORE THAN ONCE and AFTER the elections, then Palin is guilty of reckless endangerment, contributory negligence, or (and) soliciting or inciting gun violence. If causing people to get injured by yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded theater (when no fire exists) is a crime--and it IS a crime in the U.S.--then what Palin did is also criminal activity that quite possibly set the tone and gave the wink-wink nod-nod approval for carrying out the planned-in-advance rampage that took six American lives. She did not (DID NOT) remove the target map until the DAY AFTER the Tucson shootings...but the fact that she did hurriedly remove the evidence then should tell us all that Palin is aware of her duplicity.

The truth is, any sane person would not be prompted to act out violently by the comments, in fact many insane people would not be. In reality, a person who does not follow the news or politics, would not be prompted to take the actions that Jared did. So based on this, the only thing that prompted him to take such actions were his own anger at the congresswoman, maybe a wish to die by being shot for his actions, and the opportunity to take action. Not a comment made by another person, not through listening to the rhetoric, not by another other item, just his own personal actions. People who believe some of the things they are told by the media, such as the tea party is all for violence, as being brainwashed by the media, most of that violence has been manufactured by those who oppose the tea party, not the tea party, Sarah Palin, or any other representative of the right.

I pay little or no attention to the hysteria from the Left concerning Sarah Palin. It doesn't matter what she says or does, there is an element on the Left that will howl with protest. I couldn't help but notice that immediately after the shooting in Tucson, the Blame-Palin chants began, and they continued for the next four days non-stop. Then, as soon as she issued a statement they criticized that, saying "Why does Sarah Palin make everything about herself?" Amazing.

No, but she should take responsibility for her own words and actions and tone down her rhetoric.

Congresswoman Giffords specifically objected to Palin's map during her discussion of violence against Democrats and the relationship to heated rhetoric. She said:

"The thing is, the way that she has it depicted -- the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district -- when people do that, they've got to realize that there's consequences for that action."

    I think Giffords was correct.

I only wish the media were liberal. If it were then we would certainly be seeing and hearing a lot less about Sarah Palin.

I think she should only apologize if she actually feels she is wrong. Since she does not feel she is wrong and feels like even though people are dead and injured she is the real victim, she should not apologize.

Should Palin be proud that she is using a hunting analogy? Palin was told the rhetoric was in appropriate before the shooting.

Should she keep up her rhetoric and analogies until someone actually kills someone and says they were carrying out Palin's wishes?

I guess it is up to her or her handlers.

No. But then you seem to have an odd idea about the word "analogy." Did that woman not ambush a caribou a few weeks ago and shoot it on national television? That's no analogy. Any mentally-unbalanced individual might take that the wrong way. Has she not politicized her reality show?

Thank God that crap is likely to be taken off the air.

Sarah has made it clear that she is against all things liberal. Why should she agree to anything that would keep her from leading little ditto-heads like you down the garden path?

I really don't care about Palin's opinion, unless the republicans have had a consensus that her opinion is the party's stand point same with all the other jokers they use to say outrageous things...
