Ive recently got an LG monitor (about 5 weeks ago) and it is in D-Sub power saving mode and i don't know how to switch it back? Yesterday, it got out of the power saving mode and when i turned my computer on it wouldn't start up and kept on freezing!
does anyone know what is wrong and what i have to do to fix it?

Power saving mode is the standy mode which is controlled by Windows. Goto your windows power option then the sleep timer. You can see two settings there. One is for monitor another for computer. Monitor sleeping times means only monitor will goto power saving mode. If you touch anything in keyboard or mouse then it will come again.
But computre power saving mode switch off your computer. But all the works running are saved. Just hit the power key of your cpu.
You can change the sattings according to your choise.
I think your computer goes to sleep mode thats why everything freezes.

Are you sure that what you have it plugged into is giving it a signal? Generally that power saving message means the monitor has no signal to display.
