Engine oil change question?

Can oil filters such as STP, Fram and Bosch be used with synthetic oil if I plan to change it 6 months (6K miles)? Can these filters last 6 months?

yes, it is a filter for both types of oil, and will last 10000 miles. but if you change the oil, the old oil is still in the filter. I have done it before when I was too lazy to change the filter.

You do not need a different filter if you use synthetic oil. The oil filter in an engine has no moving parts and does not wear out. Engine mileage is as important as time when it comes to oil changes (and filter changes). Be sure to consult the owners manuel for your car for more info.
