You are right. McDonald's oatmeal doesn't sound good at all. When our daughter was younger we went to McDonald's once a week for a treat. Those Kid's Meals toys can be quite alluring. When our daughter got to high school we'd stop after school, for a quick snack. Then they showed the 'Super Size Me' video in school. Our daughter decided to cut out McDonald's completely & we agreed. She lost quite a bit of weight after that decision & we started to eat healthier foods. We had gotten caught up in rushing, due to our busy lives. We have slowed down some. We also saw that we could make healthier snacks at home...busy or not. Health comes first. I think it's great that you are bringing this to everyone's attention. McDonald's is trying to fool people by making it sound like they have healthier food, but they don't.

Look up McDonald's in the online dictionary

In Polish (the chain started in Poland) it literally means no nutritional value with fat laden, fat inducing, artificially produced 'food-like' compounds.

Who goes to McD's for nutrition?

Frankly Quaker Oats is not good enough for regular healthy breakfasts in my opinion.

We make real steel-cut oats, not processed ones. We put our own toppings, too.
