    @ no chance without MGM,

No, I havent been there, and I dont really believe in hell.....this is from 'the divine comedy' by Dante

I am answering the same way as if someone asked "what is the closest village to hogwarts?"

@ sanctus Diavolos - that's Italian (and English), Not Latin

thoughtful and robust quesiton. that's the unpopular reality. Hell does exist notwithstanding it isn't a literal position of burning perpetually. a similar be conscious translated "Hell" is likewise translated as "grave" and "pit". Hell is unquestionably the grave the position all men move "decrease back to the dirt" the position Adam changed into sentenced to move. A purely GOD would not burn you for all eternity purely because you dedicated a life of crime. If I scouse borrow a motor vehicle i move to penal complicated for what 2years? notwithstanding the God of justice might want to burn me perpetually? What does THAT sound favor to you? Ridiculous I wager. an rather good description of lack of life and resurrection is placed at Daniel 12. Daniel 12:2, 13 "Multitudes who sleep contained in the dirt of the earth will wakeful:..." “As for you, move your way till eventually the suitable. you'll relax, and then on the suitable of the days you'll upward thrust..."

"Relinquo Totus Spes Quicumque Penetro Hic" - Abandon all hope all ye that enter here"

This comes from Dante's Comedia, a poem written in Italian.

The phrase would originally be written: "Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’entrate”.

Per me si va nella citta dolente per me si va nell'eterno dolore

per me si va tra la perduta gente

giustizia mosse il mio alto fattore

    facemi la divina podestate

la soma sapienza e la primo amore

devante a me, non fuor cosa create

sei non eterno, ed io eterno duro

    lasciate ogne speranze voi qu'intrate

    Translation

Through me the way to the suffering city

Through me the way to eternal pain

Through me the way that runs amond the lost

Justice urged on my high artifier

    my maker was divine authority

the highest wisdom, and the primal love

Before me, nothing but eternal things were made

    and I endure eternally

Abandon all hope, who enter here

Can't wait to see the answers, but you damned well better have some proof that you've actually BEEN TO the gates of hell.

Actually, it's Aramaic - and it says "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here!"
