Can you keep fantail goldfish with any other coldwater fish?

I have two fantail goldfish and I was wondering if they are compatible with any other coldwater fish, or should I keep them with their own? I do have two catfish and they don't cause any problems, mainly because they're always hiding or on the bottom of the tank.

Is it recommended to put fantails with any other fish?

Fantails are slow swimmers and their eyes are messed up so another slow fish like a pearl goldfish or an telescope eye Goldfish
