What do FBI counterrorism agents do?
I was just wondering what a special agent in the counterrorism unit would do on a typical day. Is it more active than the violent crimes department?

They are ususlly highly expierenced agents who have a special ability (such as the ability to speak Arabic) and are assigned to a group whose function is to focus on investigating actual and suspected terrorist activity.
The FBI has several specialized investigative units. Examples are: internet fraud, organized crime, espionage, and bank robbery.

It is equally active. They work with Home Land Security to protect us from violent attacks like 9/11

There's no such thing as a typical day in a FBI agent's career.
