Can a .68 caliber paintball gun use .50 caliber ammo?

    Not very well. The .50 paintball is a lot smaller so the ball detent wont hold the ball in the breach and once you shoot so much air will pass around the ball causing it to spin a lot and not go very far or fast. So the answer is no.
