I will go on the contraty of most comments here. What Brazil is known for and sell it out there (unfortunately) is just parties, carnival, easy women. Corruption, horrible public health care, security, and education are part of our daily life. It is a country where most of the population had not gone to college and will give up their votes in the elections for almost nothing. Corruption and the "Jeitinho Brasileiro" are in our DNA. So if you come to Brazil for vacation, you will like the place, but be VERY careful with you personal stuff or you will end up without them.

Brazil has a very strong culture ... many cities in Brazil are beautiful.

And there are many mixed culture with the world in one country.

It has an excellent and varied cuisine, each region has a different one.

It dances, not just samba, but several other songs too.

    Brazil is a wonderful country.

All states of Brazil has its own culture and people with different traditions.

    : )

lol you definitely must be a brazilian xD

you guys care too much about what other people think about you and your country and it's like you need to hear and read good things about Brazil from the foreigners to be fine with yourselves hahah

there are like 600 "what you think about Brazil" questions asked by brazilians (and are the very brazilians who praise their own country more than anybody else in the end hahah) they're so funny! xD and kinda retarded lol

Seriously, that is such a rhetorical question. Everybody knows the good things about Brazil. And if you don't, you are seriously retarded .

well, I was there in 1987.......and had one beeyatching good time for Carnevale. Met a local girl, at Ipanema beach.....and she was my new bestest friend for 2 solid weeks. Hoo boy.......that was *QUITE* the trip. I would tell ya about it......but there are kids present.

Anywho.........Rio was really great. The Christ the Redeemer statue.........very impressive.

and that girl rode my baloney pony like a prize rodeo champ. !

    Oh man.........memories of a lifetime. !

Good thing I took lots of pictures........because, man, that sugar cane alcohol was something else.....and I barely remember half of it.....but the parts I do remember.........were excellent.
