1. The formula for the pointslope form is given by y  y1 = m(x  x1), where the point is (x1,y1) and the slope is "m":
y  (2) = 2(x  3)
Simplifying:
y + 2 = 2(x  3)
2. Slopeintercept form is given by y = mx + b, where "m" is the slope and "b" is the yintercept:
y + 2 = 2(x  3)
y + 2 = 2x  6
y = 2x  8
3. Standard form is given by Ax + By = C, where A, B, and C are constants:
y = 2x  8
y  2x = 8
In this case, A = 1, B = 2, and C = 8. 
y  (2) = 2(x3)
