Personally I think this is a classic example of a poorly educated, gullible individual following medical advice given by a poorly educated, unqualified medical pretender where neither understands that correlation does not automatically equate to causation.

So if someone said: "I prescribe a period of canine matrimony to restore the use of your legs and hearing" (despite having no evidence base to draw on) would you give it a go?
Update: I think this cuts too close to the bone for many people. Good to see that Angelhil and Dr. Naresh are keeping an open mind about it.
Update 2: SEN: It clearly states that he married the dog in an attempt to cure his paralysis and deafness. The mechanism of that cure is irrelevant to him as is the mechanism of ibuprofen blocking pain receptors to someone with a headache.
