2001 ford explorer front end noise?

right front wheel roaring at higher speed.if are driving straight it makes the noise but when u turn the wheel to the left it stops.wheel bearing?

    Definitely sounds like a wheel bearing to me. If it's a 4WD you'll be replacing the whole hub assembly instead of just a wheel bearing on a 2WD. The difference is the cost. If it's 4WD shop around for the hub. Prices differ wildy depending on whether it's made in the USA, Canada, or if it's some other generic Chinese made brand. If you have a little time buy it off of Ebay or Amazon for a good deal.

    If it's a 2WD then you're lucky that it's a cheap repair since it's only a $10 wheel bearing.

    it would want to need to be any of the approx. 20 themes that would want to need to reason that, it would want to be suited to take it to a cert. mechanic and performance him bypass by using it and look at themes off as he is going
