How do I train for the 800m run during the winter?
I am a freshman in high school, last year I ran the 800m and i got 2:34. I did do a bit of cross country this past fall, but I wasn't very good at it. I haven't done much running for about 2 weeks. How should I train during the winter months in order to get a better time in the spring?

Bundle up. Dress for weather that's 10 degrees warmer and hit the roads. If you have ice/snow issues, get some 1/4 inch sheet metal screws and put them into an old pair of running shoes. Plenty of traction.
Most people don't train in the winter months. If you have access to a treadmill, work on cadence, endurance and form.
