what is a Slime Self Sealing Mountain Bicycle Inner tube?

    it is a self sealing ointment inside your bicycle...

    so if you run over a nail your tire wont pop!

    its really handy to have!

    I have used slime tubes. I have found them to be poor.

    They are heavy and the sealing capabilities are minimal at best. When you do get a flat, it tends to be a little messy too.

    Overall, I would give slime tubes a thumbs down.

    For not much more, you can convert your tubes to a ghetto tubeless set-up

    I have seen people use them and they don't work that well. They can't handle the high pressure road tires and are not that great on lower pressure tires. If you have problems with a lot of flats I would go with Mr Tuffy tire liners instead.
