Wikileaks is a website devoted to uncovering government conspiracies, or stuff that they believe the public deserves to know.

The government can't and won't shut it down for two reasons: It's not an American website, so the government can't do anything about it and, the First Amendment (freedom of speech) prevents them from actually doing anything about it.

And yes, Julian Assange (the founder of Wikileaks) has been accused of rape.

The guys who created Wikileaks don't live in the USA.

Wikileaks are releasing official documents from private governmental communication. Basically, they are telling everyone about the bad stuff many countries do overseas like US soldiers murdering civilians or China hacking google.

wikileaks is like WikePedia, but the information is classified. The people who release(leak) the documents work or are affiliated w/ the government. The Gov't is trying to shut it down, so i guess it's only a matter of time

WikiLeaks is an international non-profit media organization that publishes submissions of otherwise unavailable documents from anonymous sources and leaks.

This a---hole knocked Wikileaks off line with a Denial-of-service attack. http://twitter.com/th3j35t3r

Is it a website out of Sweden, another Eurotrash country that allows criminals to hide.

What the government should have done the moment they found about the leaks, sent in special forces to destroy all computers on-site and execute all Wikileaks personnel that refuse to cooperate.

Why are they Eurotrash? Because these "so called" allies constantly allow illegal activity against the US within their countries.

If an American citizen was caught selling Swedish national security secrets, do you think they would get away with it? No, they would get arrested.

It is time our government doesn't allow Eurotrash to violate our national security.

As for the military officer out of Germany who passed on the information to Wikileaks, he is under arrest and hopefully he will spending the rest of his life prison.

Source(s): All this talk about free speech has never applied to national security, going back to the founding our nation and the Constituion does not apply to other countries. The government has the right to keep secrets when necessary.
