What are these numbers at the end in a stopwatch?

Ok so i ran 1/2 mile and i timed it with my stop watch. My time was 2:39 and there was the number 62 at the end. I know that 2 stands for 2 minutes, and 39 was the seconds. So what does 62 stand for???

Thanks for the help :D

Zack Rickle is correct, Arch Angel has the right idea, but is not exactly correct. The 62 is 62/100 of a second. Sixty-two one hundredths of a second. A millisecond is one thousandth of a second, so it is not 62 MILLIseconds. I guess these would be called centiseconds because the prefix "centi" in the metric system means 1/100.
