herpes? yeast infection?
my partner has herpes 1 (coldsores) and a few days ago a coldsore started to come up. he proformed oral on me and i didn't think anything of it, but now i know you can get herpes 2 from that. anyways, the past two days i've been in this terrible pain down there. first it burned and itched and realllly hurt to pee. I didn't think anything of it cause im usually really sore after sex. but now i looked down there and i have two like open.. sores/elsors. one is above my anus, in between the vagina. and the other one is on the inside of the i dont know what its called, but the little flap thing around the opening of the vagina. could this be a yeast infection or herpes? and is there anything i can do to help this.

Sounds like herpes to me. You don't get sores that fast with yeast infections.
See your doctor now. Was it worth it? Herpes never goes away.

You don't get HSV-2 (genital herpes) from HSV-1 (oral herpes/cold sores). You get HSV-1 of the genitals--not the same thing, though the symptoms are similar.
Unless you get to the doctor from 24-48 hours after the first sores appear for a viral culture, there's no hurry except to get meds. After that time period, the viral culture is not reliable and there is no other test that can tell you whether you are infected at this point. The IgG type-specific herpes test can detect the antibodies showing infection--but that does NOT occur for 2 weeks-4 months after you are exposed to the virus--and it can tell you WHICH type of virus you have--HSV-1/HSV-2. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes 3 months to get a reliable test result, because each person is different in how strongly their immune system works before the antibodies become evident. Doctors are not reliable at making a visual diagnosis, either.

Yea, I have been to the doctor for any kind of problems down there. It does not sound like a yeast infection. Go see your doctor right away. Or it could just be razor burn. You'll feel better once you know what it is.

Herpes is an infection due to the herpes simplex virus. It causes small, painful blisters commonly called cold sores or fever blisters. Oral herpes is also called herpes labialis.
Most people are treated with an antiviral medicine. An antiviral cream or ointment can relieve the burning, itching, or tingling.
Complementary Herpes Treatments:

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy. ThanksSource(s): https://tr.im/HgM5P
