What are some intense jazz songs?
I mean intense like with a "heavy" trumpet and the stuff you see in movies that has a really "get up and move" feel to it. if anyone could tell me some artists that would be awesome

Anything from Thad Jones (start with Groove Merchant)
Groovin Hard (Don Menza or Buddy Rich it doesnt matter)
Channel One Suite, West Side Story Medley, and almost anything with Buddy Rich
Cruisin for a Blusein, Night in Tunisia, Harlem Nocturne and most of Maynard Ferguson songs, You want...no NEED Maynard.

The Seatbelts are awesome. They did all the soundtracks from the anime series Cowboy Bebop. The theme song from the show is called "Tank." I think you'll really like this if you haven't already heard it.
