To enter Yahoo! Chat from Yahoo! Messenger with just a few steps:

1. Sign in to Messenger.

2. Select Messenger from the menu bar, then select Yahoo! Chat, click Join a Room.

3. In the window that appears, click the arrow next to Enter Chat room as, and select your Yahoo! ID or an alias.

4. Select a category on the left and a room on the right.

5. Click Go to room, a chat window will open. If you see an ad, click Enter Chat to proceed.

6. Enter the verification code.
