I think we need to remember something, this isn't about Michael Vick's past. This is about the NFL and football in general. What someone does outside of football is just that, off the field. I am not condoning what he did, because we can all agree what he did was terrible. But if he has paid his dues and done the time, which he has, then why should his past matter now? He can't change what he did, so there is no use bringing it back up. If he is playing well enough to be awarded the MVP award then I say, yes he should get it. Its still a bit early to tell whether he will or not because he could start playing lousy. But I think he is making a strong case for it. Playing in the NFL is not about what you did in the past, but it is about "what are you doing for me lately?" And lately, Vick has been playing great football.
