Can someone Define "commodity" and put it in a sentence?

    A commodity is an economic good that can be bought or sold.

    Sentence: Fossil fuels, sugar, gold, and livestock are examples of commodities.

    Something that can be bought and sold; it has a market value.

    In the winter time, mittens are a hot commodity.
