1999 Mustang GT Headers?

Question

I was thinking about getting new headers to match a new pypes violator exhaust system and i was wondering for the sake of performance should i go with Long tube or Shorty headers?

shorty's don't do anything. actually mustangs come with shorty's stock even the v6 models. get long tubes. just remember headers are not emissions friendly so i would hope your Buddy's with the inspection guy

As a general rule, shorty's (shorties?) should be fine for a stock vehicle. Long tubes make more power, but usually on highly-modded high power vehicles, like supercharged.
