Is it possible to have a soul or some form of essence without the existence of a God?

Personally I think it is easier to believe we all have a Life Force, Essence, or Soul than it is to believe in an almighty Humanoid that watches over and judges us.

I see no reason to believe in a soul, either, if you mean something that survives the death of the body.

    Sure...

We could also say each of us was created by a different god. They ALL agreed this the form we would have.

I mean, when you get into religious realms, you can make anything up you want. If someone finds a 'hole' in your thinking, you can just make stuff up to deal with that too.

Sure, why not? I mean as long as we're making up stuff about metaphysics anyway...
