cranking my 99 jeep will not?

Question

i have a 99 jeep and replaced the fuel pump, still have trouble cranking it, so then i put a fuel injection in it. Still have trouble cranking it. So then I took it to a shop that i use a couple of times before, they said they could not find anything , but that it was a issue with the key a security issue. Could it be that?

If black your key is, your trouble it is not. If gray it is, a light flashing red, a hundred dollars is dead.
