well i don't want to dash your dreams of greatness, you will travel A LOT. You will go a lot of places, but you will not see much. My buddy is a loadmaster and he has been to 60 countries this year, and this is what he saw; thousands of hours inside a C-17, the airfields of 60 countries, and the area in and around 60 hotels. The flying schedule is so hectic that he very rarely gets time to explore the local area of any of these places.

your best bet at aircrew jobs would be a loadmaster, in-flight refueler (boom operator), or an FE (flight engineer). keep in mind for all of these jobs you have to pass the SERE course.

    Good luck!!!
