First of all, I am not buying the plane garbage. Not all missile fly at the speed of sound, for that reason, breaking the sound barrier can indicate launch prematurely, for instance a tomhawk or cruise are subsonic and can be launched from subs out at sea. Which would look very much like this. An airplane cruising speed is a little over 500 miles an hour, a tomahawk hits about 600 miles an hour, from the ground you can not tell the difference. This was someones mistake and this bogus explanation is just that, bogus.

This Boeing 747, commonly called a jumbo jet, makes a cargo-transport flight. The 747, the first of the wide-bodied commercial jets, had its inaugural flight in 1970. Four jet engines propel the plane, which reaches cruising speeds of 885 km/hr (550 mph)."

The BGM-109 Tomahawk is a long-range, all-weather, subsonic cruise missile. Introduced by General Dynamics in the 1970s, it was designed as a medium- to long-range, low-altitude missile that could be launched from a submerged submarine

    Speed Subsonic - about 880 km/h (550 mph )

    Guidance

    system GPS, TERCOM, DSMAC

    Launch

platform Vertical Launch System (VLS) and horizontal submarine torpedo tubes (known as TTL (torpedo tube launch))

People keep saying it's a missile launch, but with zero evidence. It's a plane. There is an optical illusion however ... the plane is actually moving toward the California coastline, not away from it. When you first look at the video or picture, it appears as a possible launch from the sea level out in the ocean, and the supposed launch vehicle heading away. The white part of the trail in the video is the actual contrail of the jets engines which are typically a white color due to the fact they are ice crystals. The darker band is the shadow cast by the contrail which happens frequently depending on where the sun is, but both the white contrail and shadow adjacent makes it appear like a rocket plume. There are a number of verified jet engine contrails which look just like the video; high winds cause the trail to expand and of course this occurred over several hundred miles as the jet came over the horizon and headed east.

It a hubbub over a plane. Missiles move much faster in the sky. In fact , missiles would be out of sight in less than 1 minute.

They are simply airplanes up in the sky... flying over a country with lots of loony conspiracy theorists and a NASA that is so unbelievably incompetent that it takes days for them to explain what "happened"... which is nothing.

It didn't look like the contrail of an airplane, it didn't move like an airplane.

I wish we could actually trust a government to speak truth. Otherwise, what good are they to humans.
