What do you think Walmart Stores, Inc. should do about the home-loss perk provided to top executive hires?

This perk involves the company covering any loss that the executive hire experiences in selling their home near their previous job in order to move near the Walmart headquarters.

Home-loss situations aren't generally part of any initial job offering with any company-especially in this economy. Executives though are paid well and just have to take these things into account when changing jobs as we all do. That doesn't mean that the two parties can't adjust their final package agreement to help cover such a loss but more than likely it would not be a direct issue either would bring up.

Do? Like what? Stop doing it to make the whiners happy? Force their employees to take the loss?

Would that make people feel better?

Their policy is their policy. Whether anyone likes it or not. The opinion of the general public has no bearing. If they don't like a policy, they are free to shop elsewhere. After all, this is still America. (For the moment, anyway...)
