how much are Denny's servers making in las Vegas?

I am a Denny's server currently and I am planning to move to las Vegas soon. WHY? because there are casinos there and people are more likely to leave bigger tips. how good is the money i am making right now is a matter of opinion. But I would like to hear from actual servers how much are you making over there. Thanks.

(first im just gonna start by saying that im not a server at denny nor have i been in the past but i have lived in las vegas my whole life. hopefully i can help you out though)

It depends on which Denny's you work at. they're are several along the strip (main street that has all the casinos and tourists) and the servers there are probably making WAY more in tips. i went to a Denny's on the strip and the server was saying something about it being the 2nd busiest Denny's in america so there's definitely tons of people going to Denny's for breakfast. also the tourist come here expecting to spend a lot of money so tips are abundant and usually very generous. if u get a drunk group they're gonna be a lot looser with their money but that's if you work at night.

in short: vegas strip has a lot of tourists, tourists plan on spending a lot of money and are way more likely to leave larger tips. so working a Denny's on the vegas strip = more money in tips.

hopefully this helped! if i did please vote be as best answer :)

Denny's, the few left, are minimum wage plus tips. But jobs are scarce, with unemployment at 15% and increasing. Tipping for all areas including gaming is way down. Not the time to move here
