As shown in Fig. 2, the frequency is determined by the

short stub length C. The stub end serves as a feeding point to

allow radiation at the end of the microstrip line monopole, and

the frequency characteristic of the monopole antenna is

determined by the stub length. The input impedance of the

antenna is easily adjusted by the extended line length L. With

the increase of L, the length from the open end of the

microstrip line regarded as load, there appears impedance

trajectory characteristics, such as an increase in real

impedance and a change in clockwise reactance trace (Fig. 3).

Fig. 4 shows the S11 characteristics of the antennas.

Measurements were performed on antennas under different

conditions: a flat antenna (black), a U-bent antenna (red) and

there was little change in the resonant frequency, suggesting

that it is rarely affected by the shape of the antenna and by the

human body. The -10dB bandwidth was 14MHz (1.53%) on

average.
