In general Indians didn't leave their place in such pursuits, lamentably. But many from outside came into India. Before the Kazakh was delineated as one, they might have been a constituent of Kazakh and/or Uzbek/Tajik/Kyrgyz people. On of the latter, Jalaluddin 'Babur' invaded India (he was invited) in 1326 and established the 'Mughal' dynasty, under which the dynasty built one of the most powerful Empires.
