G'day Josh Kelly,
Thank you for your question.
The Tennessee Valley Authority was mostly located in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Kentucky with small parts of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Indiana and Virginia. It was created in 1933 as part of the new deal to assist in the development of the Tennessee River and adjacent areas through hydroelectricity.
I have attached sources for your reference.
